Job summary

Rocket Lab in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Supervisor, Facilities to oversee maintenance, operations, and improvement projects across the site as part of the SolAero Technologies acquisition.

You will supervise staff, develop and execute plans for mechanical, electrical, HVAC, safety, and waste management systems, and ensure work stays on schedule and within budget. A strong candidate has 10+ years in facilities and 3+ years of supervision, with a related Bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

• HS diploma.
• 10+ years of experience in a facilities environment.
• 3+ years supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the maintenance and operation of facilities equipment and systems.
• Develop and implement maintenance policies and procedures.
• Plan and manage building systems including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, safety, and waste management.
• Lead facilities modifications and improvements within scope, schedule, and budget.
• Supervise and train staff in general maintenance of buildings, grounds, and equipment.
• Ensure safety standards and budget compliance in maintenance work.
• Collaborate with site teams to meet milestones and maintain environments in spec.
• Oversee Chem Support team to meet manufacturing needs and manage hazardous waste streams.
• Coordinate Safety and ERT training for facilities and chem support technicians.
• Be a member of the site ERT team and respond to emergencies.
