Job summary

Hallmark Cards, Inc. in Lawrence, KS is seeking a Building Specialist for first shift (Mon-Fri, 7:30am–3:30pm). This role supports the Facility Services team, handling material movement, room setup, waste and supply management, and general building support.

The ideal candidate will hold a Class A forklift license, manage multiple tasks with safety in mind, and collaborate with managers and contractors to maintain a safe, efficient site. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's License is required.
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Experience with multiple computer systems, including internet-based and PC applications.
• Ability to perform frequent reaching and repetitive hand and wrist motions.
• Ability to perform some walking, bending, stooping and heavy lifting up to 100 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered industrial equipment and maintain a Class A Forklift License.
• Drive an estimated 110 miles per day on average.
• Perform facility management tasks to ensure a safe, efficient workplace and support plant objectives.
• Collaborate with managers, contractors and external service providers with minimal supervision.
• Contribute to safety, Lean initiatives and continuous improvement on site.
