Job summary

ServiceMaster Commercial Cleaning of Jackson in Mississippi is seeking a supervisor to manage the overall cleaning operation of assigned facilities, ensuring services meet customer requirements and budgets.

You will lead a team of employees, schedule work times, monitor timesheets, inspect facilities, and maintain supplies and equipment. Weekend/after-hours work is required, with opportunities to develop leadership skills and grow professionally.

Qualifications

• Highly developed teamwork skills and ability to work with diverse staff.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to see the big picture and offer strategic advice to managers.
• Able to lead in a changing environment and manage multiple sites.
• Prior janitorial/cleaning experience is a plus.
• Ability to plan, schedule and manage multiple job sites and meet after-hours needs.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day cleaning of assigned buildings and lead ServiceMaster staff.
• Schedule and monitor work times to stay within budgets.
• Meet with building staff regularly and inspect facilities for quality.
• Ensure supplies, equipment, and maintenance are available and functioning.
• Maintain positive relationships with building contacts and propose improvements.
• Oversee special projects and vehicle maintenance as needed.
• Possibly work after 5:00pm, with occasional weekends and holidays.
