They seek to create an environment that cultivates business partnerships and supports the Grow Every Day purpose.

What You’ll Do
Maintenance Leadership, Safety & Compliance

  • Identify recurring equipment, facility, or system conditions requiring technical review, equipment replacement, or investment and amplify them to the Director of Engineering & Maintenance.
Maintenance Operations & Project Support
  • Oversee maintenance service delivery, work-order management, emergency response, and resolution of escalated maintenance issues.
  • Establish clear guidelines for assigning work among in-store maintenance associates, internal field technicians, and third-party service providers based on capability, safety, urgency, cost, location, and business impact.
  • Assign and prioritize field technician work, balancing planned and reactive maintenance needs and deploying internal resources effectively across store locations.
  • Lead maintenance-related projects and facility improvement initiatives from planning through completion.
  • Coordinate internal teams, vendors, contractors, and Store Operations to ensure efficient execution and minimal disruption to store operations.
  • Monitor maintenance performance, workload, response times, backlog, service quality, and project outcomes, implementing corrective actions to address reoccurring facility, equipment, or operational issues.
  • Assist with the development and administration of maintenance operating budgets using expenditure, invoice, warranty, and service information.

  • Partner with Store Operations leadership on performance concerns involving in-store maintenance Associates, supporting training, development, and adherence to maintenance standards while Store Operations retains responsibility for personnel administration and corrective action.
  • Build and manage relationships with vendors, contractors, and service providers, ensuring performance, quality, safety, responsiveness, and cost expectations are met.
  • Review service proposals, repair recommendations, and maintenance expenditures; elevate significant issues as appropriate.
  • Escalate reoccurring vendor-performance concerns, service failures, or issues requiring contract, commercial strategic action to the Director of Engineering & Maintenance.
Systems, Performance & Financial Management
  • Serve as the operational owner of ServiceChannel for maintenance service delivery, establishing workflows, priorities, service-level expectations, escalation processes, and documentation standards.
  • Utilize ServiceChannel and related reporting tools to monitor maintenance activities and performance, analyze trends, identify recurring issues, and drive operational improvements.
  • Develop and track key performance metrics to improve service levels, resource utilization, and accountability across internal and external maintenance resources.
  • Ensure accurate system data, reporting integrity, and effective management of asset and contractor information with support from departmental resources.
  • Work with the Director of Engineering & Maintenance to analyze equipment age, service records, reliability, and frequency of service calls using available assets, work-order, warranty, and service-history information.
