Job summary

Baptist is seeking an experienced supervisor to assist in directing and coordinating the department's activities, ensuring safe, efficient environments for patients, staff and visitors in Brandon, MS. The role oversees maintenance staff and construction/renovation projects, maintaining inventory, budgets, and documentation.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of relevant management or construction experience and a High School diploma; an Associate's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year production/construction general management or similar experience.
• Experience directing department activities and coordinating teams.
• Ability to train staff and communicate effectively with patients and visitors.

Responsibilities

• Directs/oversees maintenance staff daily activities to ensure a safe, efficient environment.
• Approves requisitions for equipment and supplies to maintain inventory for department operations.
• Inspects equipment and trains staff on proper usage and safety.
• Maintains cost and time records for budget Purposes and reports to supervisor.
• Attends required staff meetings and shares information with others as needed.
• Ensures adherence to policies and provides leadership as a team ambassador.
