Job summary

Collins Aerospace in Cedar Rapids, IA, is seeking a 2nd Shift Facilities Operations & Custodial leader to supervise maintenance, safety compliance, and customer-focused service across a broad facility portfolio.

You will coach teams, manage a preventative maintenance program, coordinate small projects, and partner with facilities leadership to drive efficiency while ensuring training and policy adherence.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree and minimum 3 years.
• U.S. citizenship is required for access to government systems and contractual requirements.
• Experience in facilities and/or construction management and on-call weekend rotations.

Responsibilities

• Understand and model EHS rules and requirements.
• Coach team members on performance discussions and corrective actions.
• Manage preventative maintenance programs and ensure timely closures.
• Coordinate custodial teams and small construction projects.
• Work with facilities leadership to identify efficiency gains and improvements.
