Job summary

Impec Group is seeking an Assistant Facilities Manager to support daily facility operations, maintenance, vendor coordination, budgeting, and workplace services in North San Jose, CA. You will work closely with the Facilities Director to ensure a safe and well-maintained workplace.

The role requires 3–5 years of facilities management experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and the ability to manage multiple priorities across teams.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of facilities management experience or similar role.
• Experience with facility operations, vendors, budgets, and workplace services.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day facility operations, maintenance, and repairs.
• Conduct routine facility inspections and coordinate preventive maintenance.
• Manage work orders and ensure timely completion of service requests.
• Coordinate contractors, vendors, and service providers.
• Assist with facility budgets, contracts, expenses, and improvement projects.
• Support workplace safety and compliance requirements.
• Coordinate space planning, office moves, and workplace changes.
• Maintain facility records, inventory, and vendor documentation.
• Respond to urgent facility issues, including occasional after-hours needs.
• Partner with internal teams to provide excellent workplace support.
