Job summary

Saint Louis Park Independent School District 283 is seeking a Facilities Technician to support efficient operation of district facilities. The role coordinates inventory, work orders, scheduling, and records to ensure responsive service and optimized use of district resources.

The technician will manage cleaning supplies, assets, and key control while collaborating with facilities staff and the Facilities Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical training preferred.
• Minimum two years of facilities support or related experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license required; work with multiple sites.

Responsibilities

• Manage cleaning supply inventory and distribution across sites.
• Maintain inventory control and monitor usage for cost-effective purchasing.
• Coordinate facilities staff scheduling and staffing records.
• Administer work order system: receive, prioritize, assign, track, and close requests.
• Maintain furniture and asset records, including warranty documents.
• Oversee key control: issuing and securing building access credentials.
