Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Facilities Operations Engineer (Starlink) in Redmond to build processes and tools for efficient facility operations. You will own end-to-end process development, manage data and dashboards, and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing and office facilities.

The role blends strategic business intelligence with hands-on execution, requiring comfort with rapid shifts in priorities and independent project work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline.
• 2+ years of experience in engineering, operations, manufacturing or facilities management (internship qualifies).

Responsibilities

• Develop internal visual standards for work boards, JIRA queuing, PowerBI dashboards, and department workflow
• Support continuous improvement projects and facilities initiatives
• Define department metrics and dashboards to quantify operational health
• Conduct in-depth analyses via SQL and other data methods for decision making
• Create reports, tools, and standardized metrics for operations
• Develop automation to reduce risk or increase efficiencies
• Implement tools to reduce wasted effort by engineers and techs
• Take on new projects as needed
