Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business or technical field.
• 5+ years healthcare construction/maintenance experience preferred.
• 10+ years supervisory experience preferred.
• Valid state driver's license required.
• CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available).
• First aid may be required depending on state/facility.
• CHFM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general building maintenance including plumbing, carpentry, painting, roofing, minor repairs, and electrical work.
• Ensure preventative maintenance on all equipment.
• Maintain sanitary, safe, and compliant facility operations per standards.
• Ensure regulatory and accreditation compliance (NFPA, OSHA, CMS, TJC).
• Provide staff management including hiring, development, training, and performance management.
• Coordinate outside service vendors/contractors and internal maintenance staff.
• Develop maintenance plans and project timetables; manage small projects.
• Respond to facility fire and disaster scenarios per emergency plans.
