Job summary

HD Supply is seeking a Facilities Operations professional to manage day-to-day operations, prioritize and schedule facility maintenance projects, technician work orders and preventative maintenance services. Qualifications

• Typically requires BS/BA in a related discipline. Certification may be required in some areas. Generally 0-2 years of experience in a related field OR MS/MA and generally 0-1 year of experience in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Manages facilities support requests via help line and email. Selects vendor, coordinates and schedules work, follows up on project completion, evaluates and reviews service reports and reconciles invoices.
• Develops, revises and maintains the building systems reference documents including EMS, lighting, sprinkler and HVAC systems. Administers Certificates of Insurance for all R&M vendors including obtaining, distributing and retaining updated copies for all current vendors and service providers and contractors.
• Develops and maintains the department’s maintenance contracts and service agreements. Researches and selects best value vendors, negotiates overall program and pricing for best value.
• Develops scope and statements of work for facilities projects. Solicits budgetary quotes for projects and services, analyzes and proposes best overall value.
• Assists with facilities special projects, including construction, reconfigurations, special events, obtaining pricing, and monitoring progress.
• Conducts site assessments and service reviews. Develops and executes corrective action plans to ensure safe and compliant facility operations.
• Proposes process and program improvements that will deliver efficiency and value to the business.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
