Job summary

The Salvation Army East Cleveland Corps Community Center seeks a part-time Facilities Assistant to help maintain the building and support logistics under the Director of Operations. Responsibilities include cleaning, minor repairs, deliveries, vehicle checks, and grounds upkeep to ensure a safe, welcoming environment for programs.

You will work about 27.5 hours weekly, require a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 1-2 years of related experience.
• Valid driver's license with clean record preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• General maintenance and cleaning of all facilities and offices.
• Minor repairs and troubleshooting of mechanical systems.
• Assist with deliveries, pantry organization, and inventory.
• Drive a 12-passenger van or box truck for donations and events.
• Maintain grounds, trash, and vehicle cleanliness as assigned.
• Set up and break down rooms to support activities.
