Job summary

Madisonhealth in Rexburg, ID is seeking a Facilities - Mechanical Systems Tech (FT) to maintain the hospital's heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, mechanical, medical gas and utility systems to provide a safe, reliable, and compliant healthcare environment.

This role performs preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, repairs and emergency response on building infrastructure and utility systems while supporting regulatory compliance and maintaining accurate maintenance

Qualifications

• Associates degree, HVAC Journeyman, Specialty Plumber, Refrigeration License or equivalent.
• 5-8 years working in HVAC world preferred.
• Experience with HVAC and plumbing.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting and repairs on hospital systems.
• Handle emergency response on building infrastructure and utility systems.
• Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and participate in on-call rotation to ensure operations.

The FacilitiesSystemsTechnician– Mechanical,is responsible formaintainingthe hospital's heating, ventilation, air conditioning, plumbing, mechanical,medicalgasand utility systems to provide a safe, reliable, and compliant healthcare environment. This position performs preventive maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and emergency response on building infrastructure and utility systems while supporting regulatory compliance,maintainingaccuratemaintenance documentation, andparticipatingin the department's on-call rotation to ensure uninterrupted hospital operations.

Schedule: Full Time

• Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm rotating call schedule Sat-Sun

Required Skills:

• 1. Computer Skills
• 2. Knowledge in working with HVAC systems
• 1. 5-8 years working in the HVAC world preferred.
• 1. Experience with HVAC and plumbing
• 2. Associates degree, HVAC Journeyman, Specialty Plumber, and Refrigeration License or 10 years experience.
