Job summary

Sysco Corporation is seeking a skilled maintenance technician to oversee the upkeep of warehouse equipment in Kansas City. The role involves diagnosing and repairing Crown and Raymond lift trucks, and performing planned maintenance on lift trucks, batteries and accessories.

You will manage parts inventory, document work in maintenance software, and collaborate with teams to ensure reliability. Strong electrical/mechanical skills and a valid driver's license are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience with mechanical and electrical aptitudes; knowledge of warehouse material handling equipment, electrical/electronic systems and hydraulics; ability to read electrical and hydraulic schematics.
• Technical degree, welding experience and knowledge of testing equipment preferred.
• Valid driver's license with insurability standards and ability to operate all warehouse equipment.
• English language proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Crown and Raymond lift trucks.
• Perform all planned maintenance on lift trucks, batteries and accessories.
• Maintain MHE parts inventory and shop.
• Process work orders in Maintenance software after completion of each job.
