Dendreon Pharmaceuticals in Seal Beach, CA is seeking a Facilities Mechanic I to maintain and repair building systems, utilities, and equipment in a GMP-regulated biotechnology environment. You will perform preventive maintenance, respond to service requests, and document activities with GDP compliant records.

This on-site role operates 6AM–4PM, four days a week, with responsibilities including electrical, HVAC, plumbing tasks, and supporting facility projects while advancing technical skills

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• 0–3 years in building maintenance or facilities is typical.
• GMP/pharma environment experience is a plus but not required.
• Able to read procedures and follow work instructions.
• Familiar with CMMS and basic computer applications.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on building systems such as electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and lighting.
• Respond to service calls and process work orders promptly.
• Execute preventive maintenance per schedules and procedures.
• Assist with troubleshooting facility equipment under supervision.
• Document activities and inspections in the CMMS with GDP-compliant records.
• Support facility projects, equipment installs, and workspace changes.
