Why We Need Your Talents:
Facilities mechanics are responsible for maintaining the grounds to ensure a clean, neat, and orderly appearance. This includes parking structures, lots, garages, valet drop-off/pickup areas, and all other outside areas within the scope of Live! Casino & Hotel.
Shift: Overnight 11:00 pm - 7:30 am
Responsibilities
Where You'll Make an Impact:
- Cutting, weeding, and edging grass, raking leaves, sweeping parking lots and garages.
- Planting, removing, and relocating plants, flowers, trees, and bushes.
- Removing trash and debris from parking lot areas and grounds; emptying trash containers.
- Operating and maintaining equipment such as trucks, utility vehicles, pavement sweepers, scrubbers, pressure washers, and litter vacuums.
- Ensuring signs, posts, and chain fences are straight and secure.
- Maintaining all outside areas to be clean, safe, and at the highest level of maintenance.
- Being available for weather-related events like snow removal and storms.
- Assisting with internal logistics and maintenance as needed.
- Performing other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Must-Haves:
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Zero (0) to two (2) years of experience in groundskeeping or outdoor maintenance of a commercial property/facility.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a gaming license as required by the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency.
Physical Requirements:
- Lift and/or push up to 80 lbs.
- Standing for up to 4 hours at a time.
- Working in small, confined areas.
- Frequent bending at the waist.
- Use of stairs and elevators.
