Job summary

Trinity Health's Eddy Village Green in Cohoes, NY is seeking a Facilities Mechanic II to maintain HVAC systems, troubleshoot issues, and perform minor installations across the facility. You will ensure building systems, equipment, and grounds are safe and operational, with hands-on duties in plumbing, electrical, and mechanical maintenance.

High school diploma required; HVAC certification preferred; 2–3 years of experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• HVAC/Mechanical certification preferred.
• 2–3 years in commercial HVAC field.
• Hands-on plumbing, electrical, mechanical maintenance and repair.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, repair HVAC equipment across the facility.
• Perform minor installations and routine maintenance.
• Move furniture and equipment to support facility operations.

Full Time - Days

Responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and minor installation of HVAC-related equipment throughout the facility. Ensures all building systems, equipment, and grounds are maintained in a safe, efficient, and operational condition.

Education Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Technical certification in HVAC, Mechanical Maintenance, or a related field preferred.

Experience Requirements

• 2 to 3 years of experience in the commercial HVAC field.
• Hands-on experience with plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and appliance maintenance and repair.
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
• Move furniture and equipment to support facility operations.

Pay Rate:

$19.95-$30.92

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location
