Job summary

St. Peter's Health Partners is seeking a Facilities Mechanic II for Eddy Village Green in Cohoes, NY.

This full-time day shift role focuses on maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and minor installation of HVAC-related equipment across the facility to keep systems safe, efficient, and operational. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, 2–3 years of commercial HVAC experience, and hands-on skills in plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and appliance maintenance.

Qualifications

• 2 to 3 years of experience in the commercial HVAC field.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Technical certification in HVAC, Mechanical Maintenance, or related field preferred.
• Hands-on experience with plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and appliance maintenance and repair.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and minor installation of HVAC-related equipment throughout the facility.
• Ensure building systems, equipment, and grounds are safe, efficient, and operational.
• Move furniture and equipment to support facility operations.

Pay Rate:

$19.95-$30.92

Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location
