Job summary

Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc. is seeking a Facilities Manager to lead plant engineering, facilities, and maintenance programs across production sites.

The role requires coordinating budgets, safety initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration to meet project timelines and performance targets. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a technical field, 5+ years in manufacturing, and experience in project management and quality systems, plus demonstrated

Qualifications

• Project Management experience preferred.
• Quality Systems experience preferred.
• Leadership, supervisory and problem-solving skills preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and coordinate policies and programs to manage plant engineering functions, departmental budgeting and reporting, and installing or modifying facilities, grounds, and equipment.
• Supervise all equipment, facilities, and maintenance activities.
• Manage the facilities and work order system.
• Support safety programs to ensure safety is promoted throughout the facility.
• Create and maintain written reports on project status, tests, costs, issues, and performance to established targets and timelines on a regular basis.
• Collaborate with appropriate functional managers and cross-functional teams to ensure needs are understood and incorporated into the project and program process.
• Understand customer critical success factors and develop corrective actions to meet customer needs.
• Lead productivity and process improvements for focus area operation.
• Establish effective product introduction timetables, capabilities, and capacities that meet company sales plans.
• Manage metrics and drive root cause analysis to achieve objectives.
