Job summary

ENFRA, a leader in energy infrastructure, seeks an Asset Manager II to oversee energy usage reviews and implement best practices across campus CEP operations. You will mentor owner staff on energy strategies and manage O&M with contractors and service providers.

The role requires 3–4 years in mechanical construction or central plant management, strong communication, and familiarity with building codes. Travel is minimal, and the company supports growth and learning.

Qualifications

  • 3-4 years of experience in mechanical construction with a large mechanical subcontractor or MEP design consultant.
  • Well versed in building codes and associated standards.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to tackle multiple ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Versed in the industry and competitors.

Responsibilities

  • Review energy usage daily and provide guidance and best practices for operations.
  • Mentor the owner on energy strategies.
  • Manage CEP O&M including subcontractors, operators, and internal service providers.
  • Manage Maintenance Reserve Accounts for the CEP.
  • Coordinate with operators to ensure plant efficiency.
  • Train Plant Operators ongoing.
  • Develop and maintain the Plant Operating Manual.
  • Assist EPC team with coordination of engineering, procurement and construction activities with OMC operations.
  • Coordinate on-site troubleshooting with remote support services.

Overview

The Asset Manager II will be responsible to work with a set of customers to review energy usage and strategies in order to implement the best practices. This will include directly managing the O&M of the CEP for the campus, working with, and mentoring the owner's staff on the O&M and energy usage of multiple facilities as part of a greater campus effort.

Responsibilities

  • Reviewing of energy usage on a daily basis for the facility and to provide guidance, best practices, and modifications of current operations.

  • Mentoring the owner on energy strategies.

  • Managing the Central Energy Plant Operation and Maintenance including subcontractors, operators, and internal service providers.

  • Managing the Maintenance Reserve Accounts for the CEP.

  • Working with the operators to ensure the plant operates efficiently.

  • Performing on-going training of the Plant Operators.

  • Developing and maintaining the Plant Operating Manual.

  • Assisting the EPC team with the coordination of engineering, procurement and construction activities with OMC operations.

  • Coordinating on-site troubleshooting and diagnostic efforts with remote support services team.

Qualifications

Required Education, Experience, and Qualifications

  • 3-4 years of experience in mechanical construction with a large mechanical subcontractor or MEP design consultant or 3-4 years of management experience in a central plant or facility.

  • Well versed in building codes and associated standards.

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

  • Detail-oriented and willing to tackle various ongoing projects in a fast-paced environment.

  • Versed in the industry and the Company's competitors.

  • Ability to multitask and perform duties outside of the scope of work when necessary.

Preferred Education, Experience, and Qualifications

  • 4 year Mechanical Engineering degree (ABET Accredited Program).

  • FE preferred.

Travel Requirements

  • 0-5% of the time will be spent traveling to the job site(s)/office locations.

  • Remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods

  • Moving self in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces
