Job summary

MGM Resorts International is seeking a Facilities Manager for Excalibur in Las Vegas to oversee engineering and maintenance operations, direct staff, and ensure safety and compliance. You’ll manage service delivery, budgets, and inventory while supporting a safe and guest-focused environment.

The role requires hands-on leadership with 2+ years in management or related technical experience and a High School Diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in a managerial role or related technical education/experience.
• Experience supervising engineering and maintenance staff preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute department strategy consistent with the strategic plan, the fiscal budget, and the company’s short term and long-term profitability objectives.
• Directly supervise all engineering activities and maintenance personnel including performance feedback, setting work priorities and goals, scheduling, hiring, training, promotions, and employee engagement.
• Supervise the delivery and measurement of guest service consistent with the company’s service standards and brand attributes.
• Ensure compliance with all local and federal health, safety, and building codes and maintain accurate record keeping of department activities and documents.
• Continuously monitor utility costs and consumption and maintain required logs for all utilities.
• Leverage programs to maintain preventative maintenance schedules and procedures and oversee preventative maintenance, cleaning, and repairs/replacement of equipment.
• Provide input and manage levels of inventory and all purchases for parts, tools, equipment, and machinery to property standards.
• Must be able to stand, walk, climb stairs and ladders, and access various areas of the property for inspections, equipment assessments, and oversight of maintenance activities.
