Job summary

Nortek Data Center Cooling, LLC is seeking a Facilities Manager to oversee the safe, efficient operation of all site infrastructure, including HVAC, electrical, and utilities. The role demands hands-on leadership, proactive maintenance, and continuous improvement to support uninterrupted production and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in facilities management within manufacturing/industrial settings, strong knowledge of building systems, and experience with CMMS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in facilities or a related field.
• 5+ years of facilities or maintenance management experience in manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, industrial equipment, and maintenance best practices.
• Experience with CMMS.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, contractors, and cross-functional projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of the facility (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, materials handling, fire protection, etc.).
• Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
• Oversee maintenance technicians, contractors, and service providers.
• Ensure equipment and systems comply with manufacturer specs and safety regulations.
• Maintain OSHA/EPA/building code compliance and support safety initiatives.
• Lead emergency preparedness planning and incident response.
• Plan facility upgrades, expansions, and capital projects.
• Coordinate construction, installation, and commissioning activities with internal teams and vendors.
• Prepare and manage the facilities budget and negotiate contracts.
