The Facilities Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at our Youngstown, OH facility. This position is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, safety, and efficient operation of the 200,000+ sq/ft manufacturing site, including buildings, grounds, utilities, and equipment supporting aluminum extrusion and related operations. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance, managing facility-related vendors and service contracts, monitoring facility budgets, and ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. The Facilities Manager will develop and implement facility improvement plans, support lean manufacturing initiatives through optimized layouts and workflows, and collaborate with operations, engineering, and leadership to minimize downtime and support production goals. This role also involves supervising facilities and maintenance staff, setting priorities, and responding to urgent facility issues to maintain a safe, reliable working environment.

This position requires strong skills in maintenance planning, preventive and predictive maintenance, building systems oversight, and equipment reliability practices. Extensive experience supporting aluminum extrusion presses, CNC machining centers, automated saw systems, material handling equipment, and ancillary production machinery. Knowledgeable in PLC troubleshooting and programming support, industrial automation systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, motor controls, VFDs, conveyors, and process cooling systems. Proven ability to improve equipment uptime through root cause analysis, reliability-centered maintenance (RCM), condition monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives. Must be experienced in managing maintenance teams, coordinating capital projects, equipment installations, shutdown planning, spare parts inventory, and regulatory compliance in a manufacturing environment.
