Facilities Manager

Primary Purpose of the Position: The Facilities Manager is responsible for maintaining building operations by identifying environmental, operational, and occupational concerns; completing and controlling maintenance functions; ensuring equipment operation; maintaining building supplies; maintaining federal, state, and local building compliance; and preparing building maintenance reports. This position is vital to Modern Aviation's base tenants, customers, and employees. The results of efforts dedicated to our facilities will often be the first and last impression received by our customers. The order, cleanliness, and functionality of the locations constantly speak to the highest level of safety and service that our clientele has come to expect.

Essential Functions:

• All general maintenance of the facility, including plumbing, HVAC, asphalt/tarmac/concrete, hangar doors, and sidewalk maintenance
• Outsource maintenance with third-party vendors as needed
• Hangar floor cleaning and maintenance
• Scheduling routine inspections and emergency repairs with outside vendors
• Addressing any non-aircraft related mechanical issues
• Overseeing the quality of work performed by the landscaping contractor
• Quoting and managing Capex projects related to the building
• Directing projects as needed

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• 3 to 5 years of experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to pass criminal background check
• Valid Driver's License
• Must be 18 years of age
