Job summary

Indorama Ventures is seeking a hands-on Facilities Manager to lead non-research operations at our Technology Center in The Woodlands, Texas. This role ensures a safe, reliable, and high-performing laboratory environment enabling scientists, engineers, and technicians to deliver innovation and research outcomes.

You will manage preventive maintenance, budgets, vendor relations, and capital projects, drive EHS compliance, oversee HVAC and critical utilities, and partner with stakeholders to

Qualifications

• 8–10+ years of facility ops in industrial, manufacturing, lab, pilot plant, chemical or R&D environments.
• Experience managing preventive maintenance programs, contractors, vendors, budgets, and capital projects.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, lab ventilation, fume hoods, fire protection systems, and critical utilities infrastructure.
• Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and related environmental, health, and safety regulations.
• Fluent English; Spanish and/or Portuguese language skills desirable.

What we’re looking for:

Requirements & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field preferred.
• 8-10+ years of facility operations experience in industrial, manufacturing, laboratory, pilot plant, chemical, pharmaceutical, or R&D environments.
• Experience managing preventive maintenance programs, contractors, vendors, budgets, and capital projects.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, laboratory ventilation systems, fume hoods, fire protection systems, and critical utilities infrastructure.
• Working knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and related environmental, health, and safety regulations.
• Experience with hazardous materials and hazardous waste handling is preferred.
• Fluent English required.
• Spanish and/or Portuguese language skills are desirable.
• Ability to perform occasional physical activities associated with facility operations
• Availability to work on-site in The Woodlands, Texas.
