Job summary

Uline is seeking a Facilities Manager for its Lacey, WA warehouse campus. The role focuses on leading maintenance, security, grounds, and custodial teams to uphold safe, efficient operations across 1 million square feet of facilities.

You will partner with leadership to set policies, plan long-term enhancements, and manage budgets and projects. On-site work, with some after-hours availability as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of leadership and facilities experience.
• Experience with plumbing, construction, fire protection, HVAC, electrical, data centers, landscaping and CMMS.
• On-call for emergencies; evenings and weekends may be required.

• Collaborate with leadership on facilities policies, long-term planning, and team development.
• Plan and oversee budgets, CAPEX, and projects.
• Inspect buildings and equipment to identify maintenance needs.

Position Responsibilities

• Manage and develop diverse Facilities teams including maintenance, security, grounds and custodial teams.
• Work with Corporate and Branch leadership on Facilities policies, procedures, long-term planning and team development.
• Accurately plan and oversee budgets, capital expenses and projects.
• Inspect buildings, sites and equipment to identify and address maintenance needs.
• Respond to emergency maintenance and troubleshooting requests.
• Work with vendors and oversee execution of contracted services.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of leadership experience. 5+ years of facilities experience preferred.
• Experienced in plumbing, construction, fire protection, HVAC, electrical systems, data center, landscaping and Computerized Maintenance Management System.
• Occasional evening and weekend projects and on-call for emergencies.
