Job summary

Unusual Machines is seeking a Facilities Manager to lead the daily care, safety, and operational efficiency of our five buildings in Florida. You’ll partner with engineering and operations teams to keep production spaces well-maintained, compliant, and ready for growth.

You’ll bring hands-on facilities experience in manufacturing, strong knowledge of HVAC and electrical systems, and a steadfast commitment to OSHA standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience managing facilities in electronics, aerospace, or hardware manufacturing.
• Strong hands-on experience with industrial HVAC, electrical systems, and commercial building equipment.
• Solid understanding of OSHA rules and standard workplace safety laws.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the floor: Take ownership of the daily care, upkeep, and safety of our 5 main buildings.
• Manage work orders: Respond quickly to facility requests using our internal tracking software.
• Oversee core systems: Keep our critical infrastructure running perfectly, including specialized manufacturing HVAC, lighting, and Fire & Life Safety.
• Drive safety standards: Enforce all company policies and OSHA regulations to keep our working areas safe and orderly.
• Coordinate vendors: Direct outside contractors, cleaners, and groundscrews to ensure quality work.
• Support company events: Provide logical and physical setup support for special company milestones and events.
• Assist in emergencies: Serve as a key responder for any building alarms or urgent facility emergencies.
