The position may involve evening/weekend hours and driving the school minibus. A high school diploma and valid driver’s license are required, with preference for those with HVAC and building systems knowledge.

Position: Facilities Manager
Reports to: Chief Financial Officer
Classification: Exempt
Supervises: Contracted maintenance and repair professionals, and any part-time, seasonal help as needed
Scope of work: Responsible for the daily maintenance, safety and appearance of School facilities and grounds.
The Facilities Manager supervises and coordinates all maintenance and custodial services for all buildings and grounds occupied by Riverbend School, including the satellite properties approximately one mile away from the main campus. They are on call for facility emergencies, and must be available for occasional evening and weekend hours as needed. The Facilities Manager must be able to walk, stand for long periods, maintain balance, climb ladders, lift up to 60 pounds, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and reach above shoulder level; he/she may be exposed to inclement weather and a variety of cleaning chemicals.
