Qualifications

  • Work Schedule: 7 AM–5 PM, Mon-Fri; may require off hours to meet business needs.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee day-to-day operation of the local facilities.
  • Maintain HVAC, building automation, fire suppression, security and life safety systems.
  • Supervise and train facilities staff.
  • Prepare yearly budget estimates.
  • Participate in incident reporting, mitigation and emergency preparedness.
  • Plan, schedule, supervise and coordinate maintenance and installation of building infrastructure.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date files/data.
  • Keep building and facilities up to code and follow maintenance protocol.
  • Stakeholder management and negotiation.
  • High-level written or oral communication.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Respond to after-hours/weekend emergencies.
  • Leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

The Facilities Manager will provide leadership and support for assigned company properties and will oversees all aspects of the building functionality. Duties include running routine safety inspections, corresponding with contractors, planning maintenance work, maintaining records and supervising facility staff. The ideal candidate is well-versed in facilities management processes and exhibits high multitasking and organizational abilities.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience: Five years related experience
  • Travel: 25%
  • Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday-Friday. However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Oversee the day-to-day operation of the local facilities
  • Extensive knowledge of HVAC, mechanical, building automation, fire suppression, security, life safety, building and grounds maintenance
  • Supervise and train facilities staff
  • Prepare yearly budget estimates
  • Participate in incident reporting, mitigation and emergency preparedness
  • Plan, schedule, supervise and coordinate maintenance and installation of conventional building infrastructure
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date files/data
  • Keep building and all facilities up to code and accurately follow maintenance protocol
  • Skilled in stakeholder management, relationship management and negotiation
  • High-level written or oral communication
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to respond to after-hours/weekend emergencies
  • Leadership and problem-solving skills
  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
