illumynt is seeking a Facilities Manager to own daily operations of our Columbus site, from HVAC and electrical systems to safety and site security. You will supervise in-house work and lead capital projects with external contractors, while ensuring compliance and budgets are met.
The role requires 5+ years in facilities/maintenance, relevant electrical/plumbing credentials, and a proven ability to manage vendors, bids, and schedules. This is a full-time on-site position based in Columbus.

illumynt is also engaged in the business of wholesale distribution of technology equipment including computers, computer components and peripherals, networking and telecommunications hardware, and other electronic products. We obtain supply on consignment and through direct purchase from end users, large manufacturers (OEM’s), and distributors who find themselves with excess inventory. We re-sell those products to end users, other OEM’s, distributors, resellers, and brokers worldwide.
The Facilities Manager owns the day-to-day condition, safety, and uptime of illumynt’s Columbus site, including the warehouse, processing floor, test lab, and office space. This role functions as both a hands-on operator and a project manager, performing or directly supervising smaller-scope electrical and plumbing work in-house while shifting to a project management capacity for larger capital and construction projects. For outsourced work, the Facilities Manager is responsible for scoping, competitively bidding, and managing outside contractors from contract through final inspection. This position requires a detail-oriented, safety-focused professional who can balance daily facility operations with longer-horizon capital project execution.

Analytical Skills – Evaluates contractor bids, maintenance data, and project spend; identifies cost-saving opportunities and quality risks.
