Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years industry experience in a corporate environment, third party service provider or consultant.
• Knowledge of building systems and facilities management.
• Strong organizational skills and matrixed leadership across technical and admin staff.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong presentation skills and ability to convey complex information clearly.
• Proficient in MS Office and MS SharePoint; CMMS/Work Order systems experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement programs to reduce operating costs and increase productivity.
• Oversee monthly/quarterly/annual reporting for the client.
• Manage capital and expense budgets with client liaison.
• Create monthly/quarterly variance reports for each property.
• Support annual management plans for buildings in the area.
• Assist with short and long-term projects for the client.

What this job involves – The Facilities Manager will be the single point of contact responsible for facilities management, assisting the Regional Manager and the Corporate Real Estate team with the delivery of quality facility management services. This role will coordinate and manage tenant requirements and service delivery to ensure satisfaction.

What is your day to day? Beyond day-to-day operations, facilities managers engage in long-term planning for space utilization, technology upgrades, and sustainability initiatives. They may oversee office relocations, renovations, and expansions while ensuring minimal disruption to business operations. Support the Area Manager in the implementation of short and long-term projects for the client.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement innovative programs, processes and procedures that reduce short and long term operating costs and increase productivity by working closely with the Facility Management Lead and the client.
• Oversee the appropriate monthly/quarterly/annual reporting appropriate for the client.
• Oversee the development and management of the capital and expense budgets by interfacing closely with the client representative.
• Develop monthly/quarterly variance reporting on all operating budgets for each property on a timely basis.
• Assist with the development and implement the annual management plan for the buildings within the area.
• Support the Area Manager in the implementation of short and long-term projects for the client.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years industry experience in either the corporate environment, third party service provider or as a consultant
• Knowledge of building systems
• Strong organizational and management within matrixed organizations; oversight of both technical and administrative staff
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong presentation skills
• Proficient in MS Office and MS Share Point
• Computer proficiency in CMMS/Work Order systems
• Supervise vendor performance during normal and off hours including weekends when necessary

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
• Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or Facility Management Professional (FMP)
• Knowledge of real estate, telecommunications, furniture, accounting and building systems
• Oversight of multiple facilities with varied functions

Expected compensation for this position: 107,200.00 – 134,000.00 USD per year.
