Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) is seeking a Facilities Manager in Annandale, NJ to oversee hard/soft services and ensure exceptional client service. You will manage 3rd party soft service providers, maintain budgets, and collaborate with the Client to elevate service quality and efficiency.

The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office in a fast-paced environment.

Hard/Soft Services Manager

The Hard/Soft Services Manager will have a primary focus on client customer service. Manager will manage and maintain overall site service, performance, processes, and quality standards for all soft services which may include but are not limited to cleaning/custodial, security, landscaping, snow removal, trash & recycling, pest control, and mail/shipping. The manager will strive towards innovation of services offered, assist with lowering cost of delivery, and work with suppliers to integrate the service into operations while dramatically enhancing the customer experience.

Essential Functions

• Directly manage 3rd party soft service providers including but not limited to janitorial, security, landscaping, snow removal, trash & recycling, pest control, and mail/shipping.
• Directly manage the JLL Maintenance Associate team that provides mail/shipping and light maintenance services.
• Develop and maintain a strong working relationship with our Client.
• Responsible for the JLL and Client vendor service budget. Provide financial reporting as required.
• Assist in vendor contract development and procure goods and services through JLL and Client systems.
• Manage JLL and Client requisitions and POs and receipt invoices upon delivery or completion of work.
• Act collaboratively to solve problems and resolve spontaneous and unique situations with professionalism and customer service focus.
• Work closely with the site Facility Manager on day-to-day operations and assist the Account Director in planning the facilities team’s goals and objectives.
• Ensure appropriate follow up with customers.
• Seek to continuously improve processes, systems, and overall client satisfaction.
• Any and all other tasks and duties assigned.

Skills/Qualifications

• Education - Minimum of a high school diploma
• Experience - 3-5 years relevant experience
• Must possess strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport quickly
• Financial acumen to manage budgets for projects and operations
• Ability to multi-task and effectively organize responsibilities to achieve goals and objectives
• Ability to function effectively in a dynamic work environment
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to analyze reports for the purpose of ensuring compliance with scope of work
• Self-motivated and ability to work independently
• Strong working knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.).

Estimated compensation for this position:
