Job description

About the Role:
Natus Neuro is seeking a Facilities Management Specialist to oversee critical operations at our Middleton facility. In this role, you’ll manage vendor relationships, support health & safety compliance, coordinate preventative maintenance, and handle MRO purchasing to keep our manufacturing site efficient, safe, and compliant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily facilities tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
  • Manage vendors (cleaning, pest control, maintenance) and all utility systems (HVAC, electrical, compressed air).
  • Lead capital improvement projects and host weekly operations calls with production and quality teams.
  • Track vendor performance, maintain budgets and escalate issues as needed.
  • Support audits (FDA, BSI) relevant to facility operations.
  • Manage MRO purchasing: track spares/services, raise purchase orders, negotiate pricing/delivery, and maintain PO documentation.
  • Coordinate calibration of all inspection/measuring tools and maintain calibration records.
  • Serve as site lead for all Health & Safety activities: conduct risk assessments, manage training and induction, lead monthly meetings, and ensure procedural updates comply with current legislation.
  • Maintain contractor documentation and ensure compliance prior to onsite work.
  • Provide cross-departmental support to Engineering, Customer Service, and Quality.
  • Drive continuous improvement in systems, procedures, and cross-functional collaboration.

What You Bring:

  • 5+ years of experience in facilities, operations, or maintenance in a manufacturing or technical environment.
  • Proven ability to manage health & safety standards and facilities compliance.
  • Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems; JDE experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and vendor management skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office; AutoCAD or SolidWorks experience a plus.
  • Experience with capital projects and audit readiness.
  • Project management experience or certification is highly desirable.
  • Facilities management qualification is a plus.
