Base pay will be determined by skills and experience. Full-time associates are eligible for annual bonuses and sales referral bonuses. Temporary associates may participate in the 401(k) plan but are not benefits-eligible.

Responsibilities

Manage physical plant operations of a senior housing and healthcare campus, including safety and security systems, maintenance, repairs, grounds, housekeeping, and contracted services, ensuring compliance with all regulations and policies.

Lead and supervise teams in maintenance, housekeeping, security, and transportation, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, and disciplinary actions.

Ensure compliance with mechanical, electrical, fire & safety, plumbing, and waste management standards. Oversee maintenance of buildings, grounds, and parking areas, using the TELS platform for tracking safety tasks and managing assets.

Conduct safety drills and ensure readiness for emergencies.

Manage campus projects, ensuring bids are competitive and projects stay within budget.

Build partnerships with internal stakeholders to meet community goals.

Oversee the facilities budget, develop long-term plans, and manage capital expenses, collaborating with the Financial Services team.

Stay current with regulatory requirements across all lines of business and ensure compliance through preventative maintenance programs.

Develop vendor relationships, manage contracts, and ensure performance standards are met.

Respond to emergencies and coordinate team response as needed.

Qualifications

Education and Experience: 5-7 years of progressive responsibility in a multi-building campus, with at least 5 years in supervisory roles. An Associate’s Degree or equivalent is required; a degree in engineering or related fields is a plus. Experience in senior living is preferred.

Certifications and Licenses: Valid State Driver’s License required for vehicle travel.

Decision-Making: Apply guidelines and use judgment to solve complex problems based on experience and standards.

Knowledge and Skills: Extensive knowledge of relevant skills, with a good understanding of organizational and work environment dynamics.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:

• Standing, walking, sitting, handling, reaching, climbing, stooping, talking, hearing, lifting up to 50 pounds, vision, and interaction with people.
• Occasional weekend, evening, or night work, on-call duties, and travel.
• Exposure to health hazards and physical risks.

Salary Range

$64,060.00 - $81,600.00 per year.
