Tulsa Health Department is seeking a dedicated janitorial/maintenance worker to keep all health department sites clean and well-maintained. Responsibilities include floor care, general maintenance, and restocking supplies while adhering to safety guidelines.
Applicants should have a high school diploma, 1+ year of janitorial experience, and a valid Oklahoma driver’s license. The role involves night driving and potential overtime as needed to support public health operations.
Primarily responsible for cleaning and minor maintenance at all Health Department sites as needed and required.
The following functions represent the majority of the duties performed by the position, but is not meant to be all-inclusive or prevent other duties from being assigned when necessary.
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
Experience: One or more years of experience in janitorial or related work required. Previous experience maintaining floors (stripping, waxing, etc.) preferred.
Licenses: Must possess a valid Oklahoma driver’s license.
Direct Supervision: None.
Indirect Supervision: None.
Budget/Money/Material: Responsible for assigned equipment.
Reports to: Sr. Maintenance Technician
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
