Job summary

PSG, a Dover company in California, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maximize uptime by performing preventive maintenance and diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and plumbing faults on plant utilities and equipment.

You will work with the Maintenance Supervisor, execute daily work orders, and drive safety and efficiency while adhering to EH&S policies. The role requires 4+ years in facilities maintenance and a high school diploma, with forklift experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in electrical, electronic, mechanical, or maintenance engineering technology preferred.
• Minimum 4 years related on‑the‑job facilities experience required.
• Forklift experience required.
• Proficient in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and hydraulic systems.
• Proficient in CMMS for logging work and parts.
• Strong problem‑solving and diagnostic skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on air compressors, dryers, forklifts, PIT equipment, and pallet jacks.
• Assist with installation of new equipment by preparing the site utilities and moving equipment.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic issues on production and non‑production equipment.
• Support general building maintenance such as drywall, framing, painting and office furniture relocation.
• Execute scheduled preventative maintenance per manufacturer and company guidelines.
• Install and maintain utility lines, including air, water, gas, and electrical systems.
• Document CMMS work orders accurately while upholding safety and quality standards.
• Analyze departmental KPIs to recommend data‑driven improvements to equipment and workflows.
• Adhere to the Company's Safety Program, NFPA 70E, LOTO, and safety protocols.
• Maintain attendance and work overtime as required.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
