Job summary

Fallbrook Union Elementary School District is seeking a Substitute Maintenance Services Technician in Fallbrook, CA. The role covers maintenance, carpentry, electrical work, and related duties during absences. Typical schedule is 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

with up to 8 hours per day, days may vary. Open until filled, no district benefits for substitute positions. Requirements include 1 year journey or 2 years skilled trade experience, a valid CA driver’s license and DMV H-6, and two references,

Qualifications

• One year of journey or two years of skilled trade experience.
• Valid California Driver's License and a current DMV H-6 printout within 90 days.
• Provide two references, preferably from a supervisor, dated within the past year.

Responsibilities

• Performs maintenance/utilities and repairs of a general nature (roofing, glazing, concrete, tile, fencing, electrical).
• Performs skilled duties in carpentry, alters/repairs/constructs wood structures and fixtures.
• Maintains and repairs woodwork; fits doors/windows; operates hand/power tools.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
