Job summary

International Sports Institute LLC seeks a dependable Facilities Maintenance Technician to care for buildings, grounds, equipment, and school vans at our Olympic Valley boarding campus. You will perform routine repairs, maintenance tasks, and preventive work while ensuring safety and reliability in all operations.

The role requires outdoor work in mountain conditions, snow removal duties, and the ability to coordinate with external contractors.

Qualifications

• Experience in facilities maintenance or related fields.
• Practical knowledge of general building repairs, painting, carpentry, plumbing, and light electrical work.
• Experience safely operating power tools and outdoor maintenance equipment.
• Ability to organize and track preventive maintenance schedules for facilities, equipment, and vehicles.
• Willingness to perform snow removal during early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and complete assignments.
• Strong dependability, communication, recordkeeping, and attention to detail.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to pass all background checks and maintain professional boundaries in a residential school environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance across campus buildings.
• Carry out general repairs to doors, locks, windows, walls, floors, fixtures, and furnishings.
• Address minor plumbing and electrical tasks within scope.
• Coordinate with licensed contractors when needed and notify leadership.
• Maintain painting, patching, and touch‑up work inside and outside buildings.
• Assist with maintenance of heating systems, appliances, and equipment; coordinate with vendors.
• Oversee snow and ice removal operations, ensuring safety and access.
• Conduct grounds maintenance including mowing, trimming, and debris removal.
• Oversee and schedule maintenance of school vans and other vehicles, with proper records.
