Job summary

Walmart is seeking a General Facilities Maintenance Technician to join its local Walmart Stores team in Cincinnati, OH. The technician will perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs to ensure safe, functional facilities and equipment, following work orders and safety guidelines.

The role reports to the General Maintenance Manager and emphasizes reliability, teamwork, and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Vocational or technical certification with 3 years in plumbing, electrical, material handling, or related trades
• Alternatively 5 years total work experience in one of the same trades
• Valid Driver's License
• Eligible for CDL

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair Walmart facilities, equipment, and assets using multiple craft skills (plumbing, electrical, carpentry, material handling equipment) and using hand tools, power tools, and other equipment to complete jobs
• Utilize the work order management system to receive reactive repair Work Orders to support Stores and Store associates and document repair activities
• Provide prompt response to emergency maintenance calls
• Inspecting, operating, or testing facilities, equipment, or fixtures to diagnose issues
• Complete all required training requirements to operate equipment and tools safely
