Job summary

Performance Team in San Pedro, CA, seeks a full-time Facilities Maintenance Technician to perform skilled duties across painting, carpentry, plumbing, and basic electrical work. Responsibilities include emergency response, wall finishing, and door/window repairs, with hands-on use of common tools.

On-site role with competitive benefits; pay starts at $32.00 hourly. Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED, a valid California driver’s license, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Five years’ experience or an equivalent combination of experience and training.
• Valid California Driver’s License is required.
• Read and write at a level sufficient for job tasks and safety procedures.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Respond immediately to emergency maintenance requests in the building.
• Repair leaky faucets, toilets, and plumbing as needed.
• Wall cleaning, painting, plaster and drywall work as required.
• Repair/replace doors and windows; basic electrical tasks as experience allows.
• Operate and maintain a variety of mechanical tools and equipment (saws, sanders, drills, compressors, sprayers).
• This is a full-time, on-site position. Other duties may be assigned.
