Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of facilities maintenance, building operations, or related experience.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC fundamentals.
• Experience operating forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts is an asset.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and technical documentation.
• Experience using CMMS systems.
• Intermediate computer proficiency.
• Strong communication, organization and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and perform in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Conduct facility inspections and safety audits, identifying hazards and maintenance needs.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on building systems, equipment, and infrastructure.
• Coordinate and monitor work by contractors and vendors.
• Install and troubleshoot network drops and workstation connectivity as required.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies, tools, spare parts, and critical equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and fire safety requirements.
• Recommend cost-effective improvements to equipment, processes and operations.
• Assist with facility projects and other operational needs.
