Job summary

Grace Pointe Wellness is seeking a dependable Maintenance Assistant to keep our facility safe and comfortable for residents and staff. You will perform routine tasks, assist with minor repairs, and support the Maintenance Supervisor in daily operations.

The ideal candidate will have experience with HVAC, boilers, water systems, washers and dryers, and emergency generators, a safety-focused mindset, and the ability to work well in a team. This is a full-time, on-site role in El Paso, TX.

Qualifications

• Experience with HVAC systems, boilers, water systems, washers, dryers, and emergency generators.
• Understanding of preventive maintenance principles.
• Communicates clearly and works well within a team.
• Maintains a safety-focused, detail-oriented approach.
• Can adapt to changing facility needs and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks throughout the facility as assigned
• Assist with minor repairs and upkeep of facility equipment and tools
• Maintain the physical plant, grounds, and equipment in safe, working order
• Support the Maintenance Supervisor in daily operations and preventative maintenance
• Ensure a clean, hazard-free environment for residents, staff, and visitors
• Report and respond to maintenance issues in a timely and effective manner
