Job summary

NESC Staffing is seeking a maintenance-focused professional to oversee direct maintenance of facility buildings, grounds, and equipment in Plaistow, NH. The role supports all manufacturing operations and requires flexibility for shifts, holidays, and weekends as needed.

You will develop and sustain proactive maintenance programs, coordinate with vendors, and ensure a clean, compliant, and safe work environment. Strong electrical/mechanical/welding skills and Lean/safety knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing maintenance role preferred.
• Strong knowledge of predictive maintenance and Lean manufacturing.
• At least 2 years of electrical/mechanical/welding experience.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Project).
• Familiarity with ISO9000 quality systems.
• Hands-on role; must support maintenance tasks.

Responsibilities

• Direct maintenance of facility buildings, grounds, and equipment.
• Develop, implement, and maintain a proactive maintenance program for uptime.
• Coordinate with vendors for troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Maintain a clean, organized shop and maintain supplies inventory.
• Schedule preventive maintenance and rewrite work instructions as needed.
• Work with safety committees on OSHA compliance and safety projects.
• Direct temporary labor and contractors on maintenance tasks.
• Maintain maintenance records and track downtime for continuous improvement.
