Job summary

TPG Hotels and Resorts is seeking a hotel maintenance professional in Lexington, KY to perform interior and exterior preventive maintenance and respond to engineering requests with courtesy and safety in mind. You will document parts used and maintain clean, orderly maintenance areas, reporting emergencies and hazards promptly.

The role requires punctuality, proper uniform, and participation in department meetings while maintaining a professional and positive attitude in guest interactions.

Qualifications

• Experience in preventive maintenance in hotel or similar facility.
• Ability to respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
• Strong record-keeping and documentation skills.
• Commitment to safety, cleanliness, and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Perform interior and exterior preventive maintenance such as ground maintenance, snow removal, painting, wallpapering, sheet rock and tile repair, changing light bulbs, filter cleaning.
• Respond to and resolve engineering service requests in a courteous, efficient, safe manner.
• Document all parts used and parts needed to be purchased.
• Maintain all engineering and work areas in orderly and clean condition.
• Prompt reporting to engineering management of emergencies, injuries, missing articles, damage, mechanical problems and safety hazards.
• On time and in proper uniform; attend department meetings as scheduled.
• Consistently maintain a professional and positive attitude when communicating with guests and associates.
• Report incidents of guest dissatisfaction or other unusual matters of significance to manager/supervisor so corrective measures may be taken.
