Job summary

Teledyne Technologies Incorporated is seeking a Facilities Plumber to install, maintain, and upgrade plumbing and utility systems across manufacturing, cleanrooms, and labs. You will troubleshoot equipment, read drawings, and ensure safe, compliant operations.

The role requires a strong background in industrial plumbing, safety practices, and knowledge of process gas, vacuum, and deionized water systems. Candidates with semiconductor/cleanroom experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
• Eight+ years in plumbing, facilities maintenance, or industrial systems.
• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing environments and cleanrooms preferred.
• Knowledge of process gas, vacuum, deionized water systems, and facility utilities.
• TIG welding certification preferred; copper sweating/brazing required.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, repair, and refurbish plumbing systems in manufacturing ops.
• Service process gas delivery, LN2/GN2 piping, vacuum pumps, and water systems.
• Install utilities, piping, fixtures in manufacturing areas, cleanrooms, labs, offices.
• Troubleshoot equipment, perform preventative maintenance, reduce downtime.
• Read blueprints and codes to complete projects safely and accurately.
• Support equipment installations, upgrades, relocations, and capital projects.
• Coordinate with engineers, vendors, and teams to keep facilities running smoothly.

What You'll Do:

• Perform installation, maintenance, repair, and refurbishment of commercial and industrial plumbing systems supporting manufacturing operations.
• Service specialized facility systems including process gas delivery, LN2/GN2 piping, vacuum pumps, reverse osmosis/deionized water systems, and wastewater treatment equipment.
• Install and maintain utilities, process piping, fixtures, and facility infrastructure in manufacturing areas, cleanrooms, laboratories, and office spaces.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues, perform preventative maintenance, and support efforts to minimize production downtime.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, work orders, specifications, and building codes to complete projects safely and accurately.
• Assist with equipment installations, facility upgrades, capital projects, laboratory refurbishments, and equipment relocations.
• Coordinate with engineers, vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to support continuous facility operations and improvements.

What You Need:

• High school diploma required; technical certification, Associate's degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Minimum of eight years of relevant plumbing, facilities maintenance, or industrial systems experience.
• Experience supporting semiconductor manufacturing environments and cleanroom operations preferred.
• Strong knowledge of process gas systems, vacuum systems, deionized water systems, plumbing fabrication, and facility utility systems.
• TIG welding certification preferred; copper sweating/brazing required, with orbital welding experience considered a plus.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, lockout/tagout procedures, confined space awareness, hazard communication, and other industrial safety practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, mobile technology, and computerized maintenance systems.
