Facilities Maintenance Technician – Phoenix and/or Show Low (AZ)

NBAZ is looking for a Facilities Maintenance Technician to join Arizona’s #1 Community Bank. We are seeking qualified candidates for either our Biltmore Corporate Office in Phoenix or at our Show Low location.

Essential Functions:

  1. Assist Property Manager and Facilities Manager as needed including building inspections, procuring bids, managing vendors, building operations, and projects.
  2. Maintain building systems including interior/exterior lighting, HVAC, thermostats, life safety and building security.
  3. Meet with contractors as necessary, monitor work of contractors and all subcontracted work.
  4. Meet regularly with priority vendors like Landscaping and Janitorial. Check contract janitorial and landscape work – notify supervisor of any problems.
  5. Monitor utility usage and be responsible for building energy management (including but not limited to) time clocks and preventive maintenance.
  6. Check chemical treatment systems for Boilers and Chillers.
  7. Repair mechanical equipment as directed.
  8. Repair and install new locks, prepare all necessary keys and provide keys to main office.
  9. Patrol building exteriors for garbage, sweep lots and walks as needed.
  10. Assist in roof evaluations and maintenance repair work as needed.
  11. Maintain an inventory list of equipment and assets assigned to building/property/department.
  12. Errands as required, including picking up supplies at various vendors as required.
  13. Move equipment, tools, or supplies between properties as required.
  14. Miscellaneous troubleshooting and problem solving.
  15. Majority of the work will be performed inside company branches.
  16. Other duties as necessary.

Qualifications:

Requires a High School degree or equivalent, and 1+ years of maintenance work, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, or other directly related experience.

Hours: Monday – Friday: 8:00 A.M. – 5:00 P.M., 40 hrs./wk.

  1. Must have a current driver's license and a clean driving record.
  2. Working knowledge of operation for electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, locks and keys, drive up equipment, vault doors, time locks, and bank security equipment.
  3. Must have strong organizational skills, a high level of accuracy, and the ability to perform well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  4. Must have excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
  5. The ability to prioritize a heavy volume of small unrelated requests from a variety of sources.
  6. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish languages, is preferred.
