Job summary

Fluidics Inc., a wholly‑owned subsidiary of EMCOR Group, Inc., seeks a Utility Maintenance Mechanic in Princeton, NJ. The role involves electrical and plumbing tasks, drywall and painting, and routine preventive maintenance across building systems.

You will report to a supervisor and may work overtime or shifts as needed. Ideal candidates bring at least three years of maintenance experience, a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks,

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• At least three years of building maintenance experience.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and climbing.
• Must be able to wear a respirator and work in confined spaces.
• Valid driver’s license required to operate assigned vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Reports to Supervisor or assigned trades worker.
• Completes service requests in a timely manner.
• Performs electrical maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs.
• Repairs restroom fixtures and minor plumbing.
• Conducts preventive maintenance of building equipment.
• Repairs drywall and spackling, spot paints common areas.
• Replaces ceiling tiles and simple carpentry tasks.
• Maintains cleanliness in building operations facilities and related spaces.
• Operates and cleans equipment rooms and mechanical spaces.
• Assists with deliveries and elevator movement for projects.
• Overtime and shift work may be required.
