Job summary

In Flight, Inc. provides support services to adults with IDD in a home and community setting. The Facilities worker maintains agency vehicles, equipment and property, and coordinates with the Facilities Supervisor across Red Hook, Ulster, and Columbia County sites.

The role follows a Monday–Friday 8am–4pm schedule, participates in weekly on-call rotations, and ensures all maintenance tasks meet NYS and OPWDD rules. Benefits and on-site responsibilities are described for this nonprofit employer.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of plumbing, carpentry, electrical and painting.
• Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance.
• Valid NYS driver’s license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine upkeep and maintenance of agency vehicles, equipment and property.
• Complete daily work orders in a timely manner.
• Picks up, lifts and delivers furniture and equipment to all sites.
• Light construction, repair, and maintenance of minor plumbing/electrical/mechanical issues.
• Mow lawns and perform grounds maintenance, snow removal, and on-call tasks.
• Adhere to NYS and OPWDD regulations and company policies.
