Job summary

Sigma, a professional multi-discipline engineering and design company, seeks a Facilities & Maintenance Technician to support general office maintenance and assist with basic electrical work in Baton Rouge, LA.

You will perform routine tasks, respond to requests, maintain equipment, and help with event setups, fleet maintenance, and safety compliance. This role requires reliable team player with prior maintenance experience and basic electrical knowledge; Control4 is a plus.

Qualifications

• Prior office or facilities maintenance experience.
• Basic electrical knowledge or background.
• Ability to follow instructions, safety guidelines and maintenance procedures.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve issues independently.
• Familiarity with low-voltage cabling and AV connections.
• Experience with Control4 preferred.

Responsibilities

• General Office Maintenance and minor repairs.
• Respond to maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
• Perform preventive maintenance and report larger repairs.
• Maintain clean maintenance areas and organize tools.
• Review maintenance tickets and respond to requests.
