ABOUT THIS TEAM

Our Global Distribution DC Support functions are part of our greater lululemon Supply Chain organization. This team is responsible for the overall Health and Safety, Facilities and Production Control of our North America Distribution Centers. At lululemon, a Facilities Maintenance Technician plays a key role by maintaining the physical integrity of the property including maintaining a safe and sanitary living environment for all guests and staff.

A DAY IN THE LIFE 2nd Shift Wednesday - Saturday 5pm-3:30am

Under the leadership of the Facilities Supervisor and Facilities Manager, a Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for assisting with the entire retail distribution facility and the surrounding property. This includes the MHE, physical grounds, custodial, preventative, corrective, deferred and emergency care of the space. They will work with the Facilities Supervisor on all scheduled preventative maintenance & reactive maintenance. In addition to supporting the facility, they will also engage in additional training, team building and personal development.

  • Utilize the computerized maintenance management system to maintain inventory of equipment and schedule maintenance.
  • Conduct monthly maintenance and safety inspections, responding immediately to emergency situations as they arise.
  • Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair all aspects of material handling systems.
  • Diagnose, using test equipment, electrical and electronic control systems and other related equipment, devices, or components.
  • Assemble and install equipment such as drive motors, gearboxes, belts, gravity conveyors, platforms, and other types of material handling equipment.
  • Daily inspection of building perimeter, including general repairs.
  • Inform appropriate DC partners on important communication.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 2-3+ years of hands-on experience in facilities maintenance, conveyor, automation, & MHE maintenance
  • 1+ year of knowledge with electrical and electronic principles
  • Ability to, maintain, and troubleshoot basic relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components-- photo eyes, motor starters, relays, limit switches, proximity sensors, timers, solenoids, Servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives, tachs, and encoders.
  • Basic understanding of schematics, plans and blueprints.
  • Knowledge of lock out tag out procedures.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Outlook and basic computer skills
  • Ability to meet attendance requirements.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs frequently.
  • Ability to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Flexible and adaptable with schedule which could include nights, working required holidays, some weekends with occasional after-hours requirements and overtime.
  • Must be able to understand, speak, and read English with sufficient proficiency to follow safety and other policies, trainings, and instructions. Bilingual applicants are encouraged to apply.

Compensation and Benefits Package

Typical Hiring Range: $33.55 - $41.95/hour, subject to minimum wage in the location
Target Bonus: 5%
Total Target Base Pay Range: $35.23 - $44.05/hour
Additional Shift Premiums:$1.00 - $1.00, depending on location
